iOS · communication coaching · in beta
Master the mechanics of connection.
Selver listens to your real conversations, with consent, and shows you afterwards how you actually came across: a score, the moments that mattered, and one concrete thing to try next time. No scripts, no avatars, no role-play.

Why
Communication is a skill. Most people never practise it.
The gap between how people think they communicate and how they actually communicate is enormous, and invisible. Coaching is expensive and happens in artificial rooms that do not translate to real life. Selver started as a simulator with AI avatars and mock interviews; the lesson was that people do not struggle in simulations. They struggle in the meeting where they go quiet, the date where they cannot stop talking, the session where they give advice instead of listening. So the model flipped: listen during the real conversation, show what happened after.
How
Three steps. Zero disruption.
- 1
Tap the mic
Open Selver, tap once, have your conversation. It listens passively, isolates your voice and ignores the room. You do not change how you talk.
- 2
Read the session
When it ends, Selver produces a full analysis: a Selver Score, session vitals, key moments, strengths, growth opportunities and pivot moments, every insight backed by a quote from your own transcript.
- 3
Take the next move
Each session leaves one implementation intention, a micro-habit for bad days and clear success criteria. A coaching path tracks progress across phases, so over months you see how you change.
What it delivers
After every conversation.
Selver Score
A 0 to 100 score with trend and history.
Key moments
Timestamped tags for vulnerability, curiosity, pivots and authentic shares.
Strengths & growth
Evidence-backed insight cards, split into what worked and what to work on.
Pivot moments
The exact moment a different response would have changed the trajectory.
Action items
Implementation intentions, micro-habits and success criteria.
Coaching path
Long-term tracking across rapport, development and accountability phases.
AI walkthrough
A narrated read of the analysis, with synced scroll and highlights.
Flow & sentiment
A timeline of speaker balance, silences and sentiment shifts.
Discovery
Articles and exercises chosen for your focus area and your sessions.
Modes
Calibrated to how you communicate.
Professional
Argument structure, filler density, rhetorical devices, logical validation. The score weights clarity and concision; action items tighten transitions and delivery.
Social
The relational layer: how well you listen, respond to emotional cues and make space. The score emphasises disclosure reciprocity, rapport signals and turn-taking.
Clinical & coaching
For therapists, coaches and counsellors: emotional prosody, silence, validation over solutioning. Interruptions and unsolicited advice cost; reflective listening and open questions earn.
Creative
Structural rigidity is suppressed. Lateral connections, generative momentum and idea velocity count; shutting an idea down too early shows up as growth.
How it is built
One engineer, end to end.
A React Native app with onboarding, subscriptions, recording and analytics; multipart S3 audio uploads into an asynchronous Python backend (FastAPI, Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL) on AWS; speech recognition, LLM reasoning and retrieval-augmented generation over an encrypted semantic memory built on vector embeddings, so coaching stays consistent across months. Audio stays on the device where it can; analysis is generated locally where possible.

Stance
Technology should deepen human connection, not replace it.
Most AI tools automate tasks. Selver is built to make people better at being human. It does not generate your responses or script your conversations. It holds up a mirror: detailed enough to show patterns you have never noticed, kind enough to frame growth without judgement, and specific enough to give you something to try tomorrow.
